I am a Marine Corps Veteran. After leaving the military in 2012, I held various jobs. I rediscovered my passion for fitness and healthy living with the FitOps foundation, finding a renewed sense of purpose. Life Time has helped me put the skills that I learned in the military to good use. I'm able to change and adapt to a client's needs and abilities to help them perform better inside and outside of the gym with fitness and nutritional changes- allowing my fitness mentality to transfer into a career that I love. I love the freedom I have to create effective programming, be creative with my coaching, and influence so many people. Thank you, Life Time, for being such an amazing military supporter.

I have been in the Army Reserves for 12 years. I completed my Bachelor's degree after my 2nd deployment and wanted to start my career. I started at Life Time at the front desk, and 3 years later, I am now a Membership Concierge III. In my Military role, I take care of my Soldiers, and as a Concierge, I take care of our members. I use the hospitality skills that I use at Life Time to take care of my soldiers. At times it has been stressful working full-time at Life Time and being a First Sergeant for a medical support unit, but my leaders and coworkers have helped cover for me when I have to serve and still make me feel respected. Happy to continue to serve this great nation and to be a part of the Life Time family.

The discipline, sense of comradery, attention to detail, and ability to overcome/adapt to any situation that I learned in the Marine Corps has paid dividends in my civilian career. There hasn’t been a day I have not use one of these traits in the construction field. Being able to conduct a successful exercise or mission is much so dependent on a strong team relationship and I can say with absolute confidence that I am part of a great team here at Life Time. The support and teamwork I have seen from my PX and field team has been like no other, I believe that is what has allowed the Beaverton team to stand out.

I joined Life Time in the fall of 2018 as a member when I moved to Minnesota after my husband left active duty. By summer, I was a Team Member in the Kids Summer Camp. During those 3 years, I grew from a Camp Teacher all the way to Assistant Kids Manager. Recently, my husband began pursuing another military career opportunity in Washington, D.C., meaning we would have to move across the country. I was concerned about losing my Life Time connection. To my luck, a Kids Manager in Fairfax opened. I'm beyond grateful to have continued career growth and opportunity with this company! As military spouses, we rarely find a national company that can give us that and is flexible with our frequent moves.

My destination is Life Time Cypress Athletic, located in Cypress, TX. I served 10 years in the U.S. Army as a Captain. After receiving an honorable discharge and working for various companies over the years, I discovered Life Time in December 2011. I love working for a company that embodies excellence, passion, inclusion, respect, and integrity. I started as a front-line Facility Operations Team Member, and 10.5 years later, I now hold a Senior role. I was honorably discharged after an amazing four-year deployment in Japan as a 3rd class petty officer Gunner's Mate in the Navy. My dad raised me in gyms; he ran for Bally, YMCA and Life Time. I have a passion for the atmosphere at Life Time. Life Time helped by allowing me to use my supervising experience from the military to apply as a supervisor here in operations. I love working for Life Time because it’s a great job for people to get experience and have a good time while they work. The environment is friendly, and the people are easy to get along with -work seems less like work here.
