SUSTAINABILITY

HEALTHY PEOPLE, HEALTHY PLANET, HEALTHY WAY OF LIFE

At Life Time, we’re committed to making a positive impact on the health and wellness of our members and Team Members - along with the communities in which we operate. Our environmental stewardship extends from the healthy design and operation of our destinations to the programs supported by the Life Time Foundation to improve the health of the children and the world of tomorrow through planting and preserving trees.

HEALTHY PLANET

SAYING GOODBYE TO PLASTIC

Together, we’ve made significant progress toward reducing the use of single-use plastics in our clubs. Check out how these recent changes are making a positive impact on the planet.

Aluminum Water Bottles

Life Time Water, bottled in infinitely recyclable aluminum, has replaced the plastic water bottles previously sold at the LifeCafe. This will prevent 1.6 million plastic water bottles from ending up in our landfills and oceans every year.

Earth-Friendly Amenities

In order to divert plastic from landfills and reduce the amount of new plastic in circulation, we have replaced:

- 5 million plastic mouthwash cups with paper cups
- 12 million plastic swabs with 100% cotton swabs
- 20 million plastic swimsuit bags with bags made from recycled ocean plastic
FORESTATION AND CONSERVATION

We are on a mission to plant more trees. From broad forestation and conservation programs to local tree-planting initiatives, the Life Time Foundation is committed to working together to address one of our most urgent challenges - climate change. Through partnerships with schools and non-profit organizations, we work to educate and promote reforestation and conservation to help combat the escalating impact of greenhouse gas emissions.
